An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic Recruitment Marketing Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, BC. 

To succeed in this role, it's essential that you're passionate about your work and what we do.  We're all about connecting people to grow companies, careers, and communities. If you also happen to have a background in marketing, recruitment or communications, you’re off to a great start!  

A post-secondary education in human resources, marketing or a similar discipline is advantageous, however, if you have proven ability to coordinate campaigns and produce engaging content that attracts top quality talent – you could be exactly what we’re looking for! 

Of course, computer literacy is a must and any previous experience in social media marketing is an added bonus! Here are some other qualities that we look for...

  1. Are you someone who is organized and likes to follow systems and processes? There is a high level of administration required in this role, with strict deadlines and KPIs. We are looking for someone who will find this kind of discipline empowering and satisfying, not restrictive. 
  2. Do you thrive under pressure? With strict turnaround times, a high volume of work and multiple stakeholders, this role is not for the fainthearted. You must be someone who can work at a fast pace and multi-task, and this type of environment must appeal to you.
  3. Do you have impeccable attention to detail? To put it plainly, mistakes just can't happen in this role. It is entirely possible to do this work without making mistakes – providing that a high level of attention to detail comes naturally to you.
  4. Are you a strong writer? You don't need a formal writing qualification, but you do need a way with words, as well as excellent spelling and grammar. If you read a lot as a kid, and/or if you've always got a book on the go as an adult - that's a good sign.
  5. Do you excel at listening? The roles that we fill are across all industries and locations - one day you will be talking to the Mayor of a remote area wanting to hire a new CEO for their local government, and the next you will be talking to a physiotherapist in Prince Rupert looking for a new practice manager. While we will give you all the tools and training on how to do this, you need to bring your own maturity and professionalism to engage with them appropriately, reading between the lines of what they are telling you and asking all the right questions to ensure you write the best possible content to find them the right talent.  
  6. Are you a consummate professional? Not just in the way you dress, you also exhibit professionalism in how you interact with your colleagues, candidates, and clients.
  7. Do you possess energy and enthusiasm? These attributes are dear to our heart. We want people with a zest for life, and passion for what they're doing. If you don't love what you're doing, what's the point?
