An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic Recruitment Specialist in our dynamic Shortlisting and Selection Team based in Vancouver, BC. 

For this role, we're seeking an exceptional people person who'll enjoy coordinating recruitment processes on behalf of our clients who span a wide range of industry sectors and locations. This is a fast-paced and highly varied role, and a great opportunity for you expand and develop your recruitment skills. One day you might be helping to recruit a Registered Nurse, and the next it could be a CEO!

This role will involve delivering on all facets of the recruitment process, as agreed with the client. We customize solutions that are tailored to our client's unique needs, and we don't charge placement fees. You'll have the opportunity to review and rank candidate applications using our unique Candidate Management System (SCOUT Talent) and will often conduct detailed, role-specific behavioural video interviews.

Other duties include:

  • Conducting thorough job analysis with clients to understand their ideal candidate profile
  • Designing and executing behavioural, video and phone interviews
  • Preparing written reports on shortlisted candidates
  • Conducting employment reference checks
  • Coordinating interview schedules with both client and candidates
  • Consulting with clients and our Sales & Account Executives on recommended recruitment and shortlisting solutions
  • Providing exceptional candidate care and feedback
  • Facilitating online behavioural testing
  • Designing and facilitating group assessment days
  • Participating in business planning and achieving monthly productivity KPI's and budgets/targets

In this role, you'll be using you recruitment expertise to find the perfect fit for our clients. It promises to be challenging, varied and rewarding, and your ability to build relationships and analyze candidate responses will be critical to your success. 

What you need to succeed.

This is the perfect role for someone who has completed studies in HR, Recruitment or a similar field. Ideally, you'll have previous recruitment experience, but most importantly, you'll have experience working in a client facing, corporate environment and are comfortable liaising with clients and candidates.  

We're looking for a confident, motivated and articulate person with an understanding of the recruitment process, and a genuine drive to exceed expectations. Adaptability and excellent verbal and written communication skills will be paramount, as you will be dealing with an array of organizations in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors.

A high level of computer literacy, accuracy, and attention to detail is key, as well as a work style that demonstrates integrity and professionalism at all times.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter or someone who's looking to break into the recruitment industry, and who's looking for an opportunity outside the traditional 360 recruiter model.
